2007 Nissan Sentra

U.S. News Score: 6.7/10 | Avg. Paid: $3,550-$4,468 | Reliability Score: 3/5

The 2007 Nissan Sentra is the first model year in the car’s sixth generation. The new generation signaled a shift in the Nissan product line, with the Sentra moving from a subcompact to a compact car.

When it was new, the 2007 Nissan Sentra was an excellent value. The car’s seats are comfortable and supportive, and its fuel economy estimates were among the best in the small car class. However, it’s not as sporty or fun to drive as the 2007 Honda Civic or 2007 Mazda3.

The Sentra came equipped with basic features like power locks and windows when it was new, but the options packages were limited compared to other vehicles’ offerings. Navigation was not available.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the car high safety ratings in initial testing.
