These Are the Most Reliable New Trucks Right Now

All of the 2017 trucks on this list have above-average reliability. They are expected to stand up well to the wear and tear of everyday use, offering owners low maintenance costs and generally headache-free ownership experiences.

U.S. News & World Report determines its reliability score based on the J.D. Power and Associates predicted reliability rating. J.D. Power's predicted reliability rating uses data from the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study and the J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study in order to anticipate a new vehicle's reliablity. The Initial Quality Study measures vehicle quality throughout the first 90 days of ownership, while the Vehicle Dependability Study measures vehicle quality after three years of ownership.

Both compact and full-size trucks make this list of the most reliable new trucks on the market. To find out if a model you’re interested in fits the bill, read on.
