2018 Dodge Charger Daytona

$38,995 | U.S. News Overall Score: 7.9/10

While the base model of the 2018 Dodge Charger has a potent engine, upgrade to the Daytona trim and you’ll get an excellent balance of price, power, and prowess. It comes with a 5.7- or 6.4-liter V8, a performance suspension, and an exhaust system that announces that you have arrived.

The Daytona trim includes an 8.4-inch UConnect touch-screen infotainment system featuring Dodge Performance Pages to monitor and track the vehicle’s statistics as you drive. The system also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system is available.

Rear-wheel drive comes standard on the Charger Daytona. If you want all-wheel drive, you’ll have to opt for a trim level with a V6 engine.

In our ranking of large cars, the aging Charger holds a spot near the bottom of the list. It has a lower predicted reliability score than many peers and doesn’t match their upscale interiors.
