Tesla’s Cybertruck is Like No Pickup You’ve Seen Before

Leave it to Tesla CEO Elon Musk to shock the auto industry once again. The man who was instrumental in bringing us everything from PayPal to SpaceX rockets is diving into the most competitive segment of the American new vehicle industry – the full-size pickup market.

The Tesla Cybertruck prototype, shown at a November event in California, features a geometric stainless steel exterior that’s as polarizing as it is groundbreaking. Its utterly non-traditional, hulking, Blade Runner-like exterior is nothing like what observers expected.

According to Musk, the battery-electric truck boasts exceptional specifications for range, towing, performance, and durability. Though there were many questions left unanswered, we do have an idea of what will make the Cybertruck tick, along with some anticipated specifications.

The Tesla Cybertruck will join the Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, Tesla Model 3, and Tesla Model Y in the company’s lineup. There’s also a new Tesla Roadster on the horizon, though it’s unclear when it might be delivered to customers.

Read on to learn more about the Tesla Cybertruck – or, as Musk writes it, the “CYBRTRCK.”
