An Updated Look and Feel for the 2018 Volkswagen Golf

If you attended the 2017 New York Auto Show in April, you may have gotten a glimpse of the refreshed VW Golf lineup. The basic Golf hatch has been around for a few decades, yet it’s still one of the most popular models in the brand’s lineup, with fun driving dynamics to spice up its more practical attributes. The 2017 Golf was a finalist for our Best Compact Car for Families award.

The Golf was last redesigned for the 2012 model year, although the model’s current generation has received small and steady updates over the years. That said, this refresh does feel slightly overdue, since many of the Golf’s key competitors have been redesigned much more recently.
