Porsche’s 911 GT3 Is Back and Completely Redesigned for 2018

The redesigned 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 was revealed recently, giving enthusiasts everywhere an exciting glimpse into the newest iteration of Porsche’s classic 911 sports car.

Last redesigned in 2014, the 911 GT3 is known for its stripped-down, track-focused design. It boasts the only non-turbocharged engine in the Porsche lineup (a high-revving 500-horsepower six-cylinder) and significant weight reduction (for instance, the rear seats have been removed).

With more horsepower and more torque than previous GT3s, and a newly available manual transmission, it’s safe to say the 2018 GT3 should satisfy whoever purchases it.

Porsche expects their new sports car to be viable on the track while also remaining useful as a daily driver. While its two-seat configuration may not be ideal for the family, it’s comfortable enough to handle your daily commute.
