Getting up to 27/32 mpg city/highway, the Juke gets outstanding fuel economy for the class. The Juke requires premium fuel. Test drivers were pleased with the Nissan Juke's agile handling, describing it as nimble and well-controlled. They noted that the Juke rides firmly, and while some said it’s still comfortable, others commented that imperfect roads can result in a harsh ride. Reviewers said that steering is precise and quick, and is made even sharper in Sport mode, which adjusts the responsiveness of the accelerator, steering and transmission.

Automotive writers said the 2012 Nissan Juke is fitted with a lot of hard plastics, but they still appreciated the cabin's attractive, bold styling. The Juke seats five and test drivers were disappointed by the lack of passenger space in the rear seat. The 2012 Nissan Juke’s clearly marked gauges and straightforward controls earned high marks from reviewers.
