Base models of the 2010 Nissan 370Z have a 332-horsepower 3.7-liter six-cylinder engine and a six-speed manual transmission. An automatic transmission with paddle shifters is available. The 370Z Nismo has the same engine, but it is tuned to produce 350 horsepower. The 2010 Nissan 370Z gets a maximum of 19/26 mpg, which is average for the class. Test drivers liked the 370Z’s quick acceleration, but some noticed that its engine causes vibrations in the cabin at higher RPM. Reviewers praised the 370Z's responsive steering, strong brakes and smooth ride. However, some test drivers said the available sport suspension makes the 370Z uncomfortable on uneven pavement.

Reviewers liked the interior materials in the 2010 Nissan 370Z. Some test drivers felt that the cabin is a bit small, but other test drivers wrote that it is more spacious than competing two-seat affordable sports cars. Reviewers complained about the seats in the base model, saying that they lack lumbar support. The 2010 370Z coupe has 6.9 cubic feet of trunk space, which is low for the class. The convertible has 4.2 cubic feet of trunk space. Standard features are heated side mirrors, cruise control, automatic climate control, keyless ignition and entry, an eight-way manual driver’s seat and four-speaker audio system with a CD player. Optional features when it was new include Bluetooth, an upgraded Bose stereo system, satellite radio, six-disc CD changer, heated and ventilated seats, a navigation system and an iPod interface.
