Mercedes’ Small Car Goes Further Upmarket

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class was unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, and while there are many changes to this luxury small car, it’s not a radical redesign. Mercedes called it a “facelift.”

Its exterior design has a few updates, like a new grille and driver assistance features, and it will have a bit more power on tap from a more efficient engine.

We can expect to see the new C-Class in the United States in late 2018. We’ll get the new design and the technology updates, but we won’t see some of the options other markets will. China, for instance, is the only country where a long-wheelbase C-Class is sold, and Europe will have a plug-in diesel hybrid powertrain option.

There are still plenty of options in the U.S.-market C-Class. Read on to learn more about the cutting edge infotainment and safety tech available here later this year. As we learn more about the 2019 C-Class, we’ll incorporate it into our full review.
