Even Within the Luxury SUV Segment, Some Interiors Far Outclass the Others

If you’ve ever driven a luxury vehicle that promised great performance, but had uncomfortable seating or a dull interior design that left you cold, you know how important it is to choose a well-rounded vehicle. This is especially true when you’re paying a premium price.

That’s why, in our new vehicle rankings, an interior score contributes to each vehicle’s overall U.S. News score. The interior score is based on passenger space, cargo capacity, design and quality, comfort, and standard and available features. On the following slides, you’ll learn a little about this year’s most luxurious SUVs, in the order of each model’s U.S. News interior score from least to most luxurious. As you read, you’ll see that the biggest and most expensive vehicles aren’t necessarily the most swanky. In other words, a vehicle doesn’t have to be ostentatious (or ultra-expensive) to earn a spot on this list.

Keep in mind that our scores and rankings are continually updated as new information becomes available. This means that the scores mentioned in this article may not match those listed in our new car reviews.
