$40,250 | Luxury Small Cars

The 2018 C-Class sedan will get a few performance-oriented updates this year. A new 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission will replace the current seven-speed transmission on the C300 and C300 4Matic. These models also get a bit quicker: They will now go from zero to 60 in 5.8 seconds.

The C-Class Cabriolet gets wood trim, and extendable visors are now standard in the C300 Cabriolet, as are new 18-inch five-spoke split wheels.

The AMG variants also get a few updates for 2018. Mercedes will introduce the Track Pace App (which tracks racing performance through the Mercedes COMAND infotainment system) and a rear decklid spoiler. The Cabriolet AMG variants will get the new Track Pace App and the AMG C43 will be available with the Studio Package (which includes special exterior paint, Nappa leather with color stitching, carbon fiber trim, and sport front seats).
