2010 Lincoln MKX Overview

There are lots of good reasons to choose the 2010 Lincoln MKX as your next five-seat luxury crossover. Its fuel economy is better than average and its safety scores are good. Additionally, reviewers appreciated its roomy interior and its wealth of standard features.

Test drivers did have some significant complaints about this SUV, however. They noted that some of its interior materials were of lower quality than many other entries in the class, and said its braking performance wasn’t perfect. However, many reviewers’ biggest problem was that the 2010 MKX just isn’t nice enough to justify its price premium over the 2010 Ford Edge, on which it is based. Still, for buyers who want a five-seat SUV from a luxury brand, most reviewers agreed that the 2010 Lincoln MKX is a very good choice.

Other Cars to Consider

If you want an SUV with a bit more prestige than the Lincoln MKX, consider the 2010 Mercedes-Benz M-Class. It’s more capable off-road than the MKX, and reviewers preferred its on-road performance as well. The M-Class’ available diesel model should get slightly better fuel economy than the MKX.

According to reviewers, the 2010 Lexus RX is one of the best five-seat crossovers you can buy. They loved its above-average fuel economy, very well-made interior and smooth ride. Test drivers were quick to note that the Lexus RX isn’t sporty, but it’s hard to argue with its top-of-the-class rankings in most other areas.
