Most test drivers write that the 2015 Lexus GS’ interior has handsome styling and first-rate materials like wood, aluminum and soft leather. They say the front seats offer long-distance comfort and the rear seats are spacious. The 2015 GS 350’s infotainment system was updated this year, but some reviewers dislike that its Remote Touch controller can be distracting to use.
The 2015 Lexus GS 350 seats five and comes standard with leather upholstery and 10-way power-adjustable front seats. Available features include heated and ventilated front seats, 18-way power-adjustable front seats and heated rear seats. The GS 350’s front seats are roomy, comfortable on long trips and offer a wide range of adjustments, according to reviewers. Test drivers say the rear seats are spacious as well, and quite supportive.
The 2015 Lexus GS 350 comes standard with a moonroof, push-button start, a 12-speaker surround-sound audio system, a USB port, Bluetooth, HD and satellite radio, a rearview camera and an infotainment system with an 8-inch display and Lexus’ Remote Touch controller, which is similar to a computer mouse and is used to access audio and navigation settings. Available features include a head-up display, a navigation system with a 12.3-inch display, a Mark Levinson 17-speaker surround-sound audio system, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pre-collision braking, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, parallel park assist and lane keep assist.
The GS 350’s updated infotainment system can now display up to three vehicle features on the same screen, including audio, climate and navigation. However, you have to use Lexus’ Remote Touch system to operate many of these functions, and some reviewers complain that its controller is more distracting and difficult to use than the controls found in some rival cars.
The 2015 Lexus GS 350 has 14.3 cubic feet of trunk space, which is decent for the class, though some rivals, including the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, have larger trunks. The GS 350 is not available with folding rear seats, though it does have a standard center pass-through for longer, narrow items. A power trunk lid is optional. Reviewers say that the GS 350’s cabin storage includes a fairly sizable glove box, door pockets and center console.
