American-Built Debuts at the L.A. Auto Show (and Not Just From American Companies)

This year’s auto show season began with a couple of surprises from American automakers and a host of new products from foreign manufacturers that build many of their cars in the United States. There will be several new SUVs rolling off American assembly lines, plus a couple of high-performance sports cars.

Most of the cars introduced at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show are production models that will arrive on the market next year. A few, however, aren’t quite ready for prime time, and we’ll have to wait to see how close the final versions are to the concepts shown in L.A.
