Reviewers are disappointed with the XJ's cabin technology, saying the touch-screen infotainment system is slow and outdated, and the transmission knob that rises out of the center console when you start the car is cheap-feeling. The Jaguar XJ has an LCD screen in place of physical gauges, and critics say it is low-resolution and shows information like speed with a slight delay. Some also note that the XJ is missing some active safety features, such as lane keep assist, that are available in rivals.
