Yes, the 2019 I-Pace is a fantastic choice in the used luxury hybrid and electric SUV class. This fully electric SUV strikes a great balance between comfort and athleticism. It can also handle some light off-roading, thanks to standard equipment like all-wheel drive and an air suspension system that can raise the vehicle for increased ground clearance. What Does Jaguar's Certified Pre-Owned Warranty Cover?

Jaguar offers a certified pre-owned program for vehicles five years old or less and with fewer than 60,000 miles. Eligibility is determined by the vehicle’s initial sale date. For its certified pre-owned vehicles, Jaguar extends the original new-car warranty to seven years or 100,000 miles. Every CPO Jaguar must pass a 165-point inspection. Additional benefits like towing, roadside assistance, and trip interruption benefits may be available, so read the Jaguar warranty page carefully.

Jaguar has a good CPO program compared to other luxury automakers, but according to our analysis, brands such as Volvo and Lexus have better ones.

2019 Jaguar I-Pace Versus the Competition

Which Is Better: 2019 Jaguar I-Pace or 2019 Tesla Model X?

The 2019 Tesla Model X is one of the few EVs with a longer all-electric range than the I-Pace. The Model X is available with semiautonomous driving technology, and you can take advantage of Tesla's network of Supercharging stations. The Model X has an available third row of seats that provide seating for up to seven, and it offers 39 more cubic feet of cargo space. However, shoppers who don’t need the additional passenger and cargo space will likely prefer the Jaguar. After all, it costs less to buy on average and features a higher-quality cabin.

Which Is Better: 2019 Jaguar I-Pace or 2019 Audi e-tron?

The 2019 Audi e-tron is another well-regarded luxury electric crossover. Both the e-tron and the I-Pace have more than 200 miles of range and come standard with all-wheel drive. The e-tron is a bit more expensive, but it has more space for passengers and their cargo. The I-Pace delivers a more athletic ride than the e-tron, and the Jag achieves higher MPGe figures. Your choice comes down to whether you prioritize the Audi’s practicality or the Jaguar’s agility.

The regenerative braking system in the I-Pace can be configured to allow one-pedal driving – in which the car begins braking as soon as you lift your foot off of the gas – or mimic traditional brakes. All-wheel drive and an air suspension system are also standard, making the I-Pace ready for some light off-roading.

  • Base powertrain: two electric motors with 394 horsepower
  • Drivetrain: all-wheel drive
  • Transmission: single-speed automatic
