The 2020 Jaguar XE Gets A Facelift, a Simplified Lineup, and Advanced Infotainment

The refreshed 2020 Jaguar XE gets a more muscular exterior design, as well as a significantly upgraded interior. It also adopts Jaguar Land Rover’s latest infotainment system, along with a number of other new technologies. In addition, Jaguar has streamlined the XE lineup and powertrain choices.

The Jaguar XE first came to market in 2014, though it didn’t grace our shores until 2016 as a 2017 model. It has remained relatively unchanged ever since, aside from some engine lineup adjustments and few new features. Several competing models have undergone complete redesigns over the past few years, so Jaguar is moving forward to help the XE better compete.

To date, the XE hasn’t achieved a high level of sales success. In fact, its U.S. deliveries pale in comparison to that of most other classmates. However, it’s important to note that Jaguar is still considered a low-volume automaker, though it has recently expanded its lineup to include various SUVs and an appealing all-electric crossover in a push to up its significance.
