2018 Infiniti Q50

The 2018 Infiniti Q50 sedan receives a comprehensive refresh, with a new trim level lineup that includes Pure, Luxe, Sport, and Red Sport 400 models. Each receives exclusive, updated exteriors that feature sharper, more aggressive looks on the Sport and Red Sport 400 trims.

Every trim level is available with either rear- or all-wheel drive. Three powertrains are offered, including the base 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo, a V6 hybrid system, and a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine that is tuned to produce either 300 or 400 horsepower, depending on the trim level you choose.

The interior of the Q50 has also been updated with more soft-touch materials and greater differentiation between the trim levels.

Unlike some rivals that include the features as standard equipment, advanced safety and driver assistance systems such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist are optional on all models of the Q50.

In our rankings of luxury small cars, the 2017 Infiniti Q50, which the 2018 shares most of its components with, is scored about three-quarters of the way down the list.
