2013 Hyundai Azera Overview

The 2013 Hyundai Azera comes with a V6 engine, and reviewers said it helps deliver strong acceleration. Front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission are standard. Critics agreed that the transmission’s gear changes are seamless, though some noted that they’re also a bit slow. The 2013 Hyundai Azera gets an EPA-estimated 20/29 mpg city/highway, which is in line with the estimates of the rest of the class. Automotive journalists wrote that the Azera isn’t as composed as its competitors when driving on the highway or rolling over potholes. They noted that the Azera has numb steering and unimpressive handling, but added that its brakes have ample stopping power.

Many critics said the 2013 Hyundai Azera has an attractive interior, though a few didn’t care for the hard plastic panels on the dashboard. Automotive reviewers agreed that there is plenty of legroom in the front and back seats, even for taller people. However, a few auto writers were less impressed with the rear-seat headroom. The 2013 Azera has 16.3 cubic feet of trunk space, which is about normal for the class. Reviewers agreed that one of the highlights of the Azera is its long list of standard equipment, which includes navigation, a 7-inch touch-screen interface, a USB port, a rearview camera, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, a cooled glove compartment, Bluetooth and dual-zone automatic climate control. Available features include a panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker Infinity stereo system, rear parking sensors and ventilated front seats.
