15) 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe RST / Suburban RST

420 hp | Price Not Yet Announced

For 2018, Chevrolet has introduced high-performance models of its Tahoe and Suburban. The large SUVs feature a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8, magnetic ride control that constantly adjusts to changes in road and driving conditions, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Chrome accents have been eliminated to give the big utes a distinct look.

You can pick up another seven or eight horsepower by upgrading to the optional Borla performance exhaust system, according to Chevrolet. Red Brembo six-piston front brake calipers are also available for the RST models.

The current 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe holds a spot at the top of our rankings of large SUVs, while the 2017 Chevrolet Suburban scores about midway up in the same rankings. Beyond the addition of the RST special editions, very little on the vehicles will change for 2018.
