Buying Advice

Last Updated: January 3, 2019

Consistent Sales: Sales of the GMC Yukon ranked second best among large SUVs in 2018, although they remained the same last year relative to 2017.

High Prices: The base Yukon has a starting price of $49,100 and is one of the most expensive standard-wheelbase option in the class. However, it is also among the most luxurious, borrowing materials and styling cues from its corporate cousin, the Cadillac Escalade.

Time to Buy: Although demand is declining slightly, the Yukon is still a popular model, so finding a good deal may be difficult. Check out this month's GMC deals to find additional savings opportunities. To spend less, consider the Chevy Traverse. Though technically classified as a midsize SUV, it has more cargo space than the Yukon and costs about $20,000 less.
