2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid Overview

The 2011 Fusion Hybrid is designed to conserve fuel, but test drivers said that its hybrid powertrain delivers a lively driving experience that is very similar to the gas-only 2011 Fusion. At 41/36 mpg city/highway, the Fusion Hybrid’s fuel economy estimates are among the best you’ll find on a 2011 midsize car. Reviewers were impressed that the transition between gas and electric power is nearly undetectable, and how strong the regenerative brakes are. They also liked the Fusion Hybrid’s good power delivery. In addition to being a fuel miser, the Ford Fusion Hybrid has enough space to hold your family and cargo.

The 2011 Fusion Hybrid’s trunk is small for the class, but this common problem among hybrid cars, since the battery pack takes up space in its trunk.

The 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid has a four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) transmits power to the front wheels. Automatic headlights, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors and a six-speaker stereo with Ford’s Sync infotainment system are among the Fusion Hybrid’s standard features. Features like a sunroof, upgraded stereo, backup camera, navigation and a blind-spot monitoring system were all optional when the Fusion was new. Six airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control and traction control are included as standard safety equipment on the 2011 Fusion Hybrid.
