The Battle for America’s Top Off-Roader Begins

The 2021 Ford Bronco has finally arrived, kicking off what will be an epic battle for America’s hardcore off-road enthusiasts' hearts. The reincarnated Bronco is set to face off with the latest generation of the iconic Jeep Wrangler for the off-road vehicle sales crown.

Is the all-new Ford Bronco better than the Jeep Wrangler? We simply won’t know the answer to that question until journalists thoroughly test the new Ford.

There’s a lot in common between the two vehicles, including hardware for incredible off-road prowess, the ability to remove roofs and doors, and vast ranges of available configurations. There are some key differences, however, and we’ll highlight them on the following pages.

We’ll only be looking at each vehicle’s specs and features, since journalists and reviewers have yet to report on the driving dynamics of the new Bronco. The focus will be on the Bronco two- and four-door models, rather than the all-new Bronco Sport, which we’ll cover in a separate story.
