Bustling Baby Bronco Joins Ford's Off-Road Stable

One of the hottest new-vehicle reveals in recent history belonged to Ford when – after years of anticipation, speculation, and excitement – the company revived the revered Bronco nameplate. In addition to a two-door and four-door Bronco model, a Bronco Sport joins the lineup.

The Bronco Sport builds on the history and reputation of the Bronco badge, while giving Ford another (for them, hopefully) well-selling entrant in the lucrative small crossover market. It's another key piece in the brand's overarching strategy of focusing on utility vehicles. In the last few years, Ford has killed off or announced plans to discontinue all passenger cars except the venerable Mustang, while introducing several new vehicles. That list includes the all-electric Mustang Mach-E SUV and the Ford Ranger compact pickup.

On the following slides, we get into details about the Bronco Sport covering its off-road abilities, powertrains, design, features, and space. We also pit it against some likely competition.
