2010 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Interior Review

Note: This interior review was created when the 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano was new.

This model has never been fully tested for interior. As a result, it doesn't have an overall score and cannot be ranked against other luxury sports cars.

The 599 GTB Fiorano’s cabin is characterized by fine craftsmanship, high-quality materials and supportive seating for two. It’s highly customizable as well.

The 599 GTB Fiorano only seats two, but even 2+2’s like the Aston Martin DB9 are better suited for two than four passengers. In fact, no four-passenger vehicle in the class of exotic sports cars offers real four-passenger comfort. Overall, reviewers find the Fiorano’s seats roomy and supportive.

  • "The two-seat 599 GTB Fiorano will let drivers believe they're F1 racers if they wish, but they won't feel as if they're strapped into a Spartan racetrack beast. The seats have huge bolsters and cutouts for a four-point racing harness." -- Cars.com
  • "The well-shaped seats are finished in premium hides, while aluminum accents enrich the ambience." -- Edmunds

Interior Features

The interior cabin of the 2010 Fiorano is crafted out of high-quality materials and is highly customizable. According to Ferrari, “A balance has been struck in the interior between the car's sporty vocation and the intimacy that only skilled hand-crafting and detailed personalisation can achieve.” It features leather upholstery and carbon fiber/aluminum trim galore.

Ferrari’s personalization program allows drivers to choose among a wide array of materials and features -- including a new Enzo Ferrari-inspired carbon-fiber steering wheel with LED rev display, a carbon-fiber trim kit and a satellite navigation system.

Exotic sports car shoppers interested in customizing their rides should also take a look at Lamborghini’s offerings. Through its “Ad Personam program,” drivers’ customization options are only limited by their imaginations.

  • "There's no carpet inside the cabin, and plastic is used only for the ashtray and air vents. Alcantara, however, has been rolled out by the yard: The headliner, the center sections of the bucket seats, and the floor are lined with the synthetic suede." -- Car and Driver
  • "The car's many interactive systems (such as stability control, suspension settings and F1 gearbox response) can be adjusted via a knob on the steering wheel called the 'manettino' -- Italian for 'little manager.'" -- Edmunds

Ferrari doesn't provide cargo dimensions for the Fiorano, so it’s difficult to place its storage room in the context of its class. However, no exotic sports car is engineered for the purpose of hauling items. Within this class, the Ferrari California offers the largest amount of cargo room -- 12.7 cubic feet with the top up.
