The 2020 Nissan 370Z has a rawness that will remind you of a traditional sports car: those built back when you needed some muscle of your own to maneuver the car and didn't have a cluster of computers babysitting you. In fact, you won't have much in the way of technology to distract you during the drive. This generation of the “Z” dates from 2009, so there's no infotainment screen – at least in lower-tier versions – or digital driver's display keeping your eyes from following the road.

For many drivers, this no-frills interior is a great way to get the ambiance of a classic in a new car. It also frees you up to enjoy the 370Z's 3.7-liter V6, which is paired with a six-speed manual transmission (a seven-speed automatic is also available). This engine can spring from zero to 60 in about 5.5 seconds. One other benefit of the 370Z is its price: Models start just under $31,000.

Nissan recently announced a redesign 2021 400Z, so keep your eyes out for that in the near future.
