2010 Chrysler Town & Country Overview

When it was new, the 2010 Chrysler Town & Country was loved by reviewers for its innovative interior and cargo options. The Town & Country also won points for its comfortable ride and powerful engine options, but with an underpowered base engine, reviewers felt that competitors offered better value. The 2010 Town & Country is largely unchanged from the 2009 model, so you may be able to save money by shopping for an older model.

Reviewers preferred the available 4.0-liter V6 engine because of the power it provided, but thought the base engine didn’t offer enough power.

The 2010 Town & Country was available with Stow ‘n Go, or Swivel ‘n Go, seats, which allow different interior and cargo configurations. The Stow ‘n Go seats fold flat to create more cargo room, while the Swivel ‘n Go seats can turn to face the third row.

The Town & Country came with several standard interior and safety features that pleased reviewers and test drivers when it was new. Notable standard features include cruise control, power windows and door locks and a stereo with an auxiliary input. Higher trims offer features like satellite radio, a DVD entertainment system with flip-down LCD screens and a navigation system.

Other Cars to Consider

If you’re considering value and performance, the 2010 Kia Sedona should fit your needs. Reviewers found that the Sedona’s standard features, which include a USB jack and satellite radio, came at a bargain price. The Sedona is also more powerful than the base Town & Country.

The 2010 Honda Odyssey should be considered for its strong build quality, smooth handling and comfortable interior. Though the Odyssey doesn’t include the same convenient seating options, reviewers noted that it outshined the Town & Country and the Sedona in performance and interior quality. Many reviewers said the Odyssey is the benchmark for minivans because of its superior handling and cargo space.
