2011 Chevrolet HHR Overview

The 2011 Chevrolet HHR comes standard with a four-cylinder engine and was available with another four-cylinder engine. They each get 22/30 mpg with an available automatic transmission, which is pretty high for the class. Test drivers said that both engines perform well, but both engines give off a loud buzz when accelerating. They said passing power on the highway is lacking. Some reviewers said the HHR has a comfortable ride. However, they said the HHR takes too long to come to a stop.

Automotive writers said the plastic interior in the Chevrolet HHR looks cheap, but the cabin is spacious. Seating is comfortable for most passengers. However, tall passengers may not have enough head- or legroom in both of the rows. The HHR can hold up to 57.7 cubic feet of cargo behind the first row and 25.2 cubic feet behind the second row, which is typical for the class. Standard features on the HHR include satellite radio, cruise control and remote keyless entry. Leather upholstery, heated seats and Chevrolet’s MY Link package were available on some models. The available rearview camera is an important feature for the HHR since reviewers said the rearward visibility was bad. They agreed that the camera is a must-have.
