SUVs With Low Prices That Won’t Break the Bank

SUVs have taken the American market by storm, with models available to fit almost any buyer’s needs. One challenge, though, is fitting an SUV into a family budget. Fortunately, purchasing or leasing an SUV doesn't have to be expensive. Many great options don't have exorbitant sticker prices.

The 15 models on the following slides have the lowest MSRPs, or sticker prices, of the SUVs in our new car rankings and reviews. The prices shown are for base models, which typically comes with front-wheel drive and little in the way of luxury extras. Buyers on a budget looking for something more luxurious, such as a Cadillac or Mercedes-Benz SUV or a full-size SUV with three rows of seating, should consider looking at certified pre-owned vehicles, which come with much lower price tags than you would find on new cars.

Note that our rankings frequently change as new information becomes available so the scores you see on the following pages may not match those you see on the individual car review pages.
