12) 2019 BMW X6 xDrive50i (tie)

$78,300 | U.S. News Overall Score: 8.2/10

The BMW X6 is bursting with power and aggression, thanks to the availability of two optional V8 engines that put out 445 and 567 horsepower, respectively. Combine this power with razor-sharp handling and an exhaust note that sounds like a German-built muscle car, and you can see why this tire-smoking SUV has such a unique appeal.

Unfortunately, while it might be athletic, the X6 isn’t a great choice when it comes to heavy lifting. That’s because the tapered roofline limits rear headroom and cuts into cargo room. The biggest problem with the X6 is that the boxier BMW X5 has the same power, more practicality, and a lower price.
