2016 Ford F-150

The 2016 Ford F-150 sits on the top of the U.S. News full size pickup truck rankings and is also a finalist for the U.S. News 2016 Best Full Size Truck for the Money award. This pickup impresses buyers and critics with an extensive engine lineup, plenty of customization, good reliability, and great safety scores. The F-150 earned 3.5 out of five for reliability from J.D. Power, a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS, and a 5-Star overall rating from the NHTSA.

Ford offers the F-150 with a choice of four engines. Even the base model, a 282-horsepower V6, gets good reviews, but if it’s not enough there’s also a V8 and two twin-turbo V6s, ranging from 325 to 385 horsepower. If fuel efficiency is a priority, consider the twin-turbo options. When properly equipped, the F-150 offers best-in-class towing capacity of 12,200 pounds. The F-150 offers plenty of cab and bed configurations, and provides a strong value with lots of high-end standard features. The Ford F-150 was last redesigned in 2015.
