Jim Sharifi is the managing editor of U.S. News and World Report’s Best Cars team. His expertise includes consumer-oriented advice, and he focuses on both new and used vehicle marketplaces. Jim believes in providing insights that make car buying and the ownership experience much less stressful.

Previously on the consumer marketing team at Carfax, Jim built an editorial program from the ground up and worked extensively on Carfax’s used car listings. Jim is a graduate of George Mason University and a member of the Washington Automotive Press Association.
