The best cash back new car deals save you thousands of dollars off the purchase price of your new vehicle. They are also a great way to save money if you have limited funds available for a down payment or are planning to pay cash for your new vehicle.
As summer car sales and demand begin to ramp up, cash back deals can sometimes seem scarce. But don't worry: We've scoured through hundreds of offers to find the best ones of the month. With bonus cash specials as high as $4,700, these are some of the hottest cash back car deals of June.
2016 Hyundai Sonata
Deal: $1,500 to $2,750 retail bonus cash (Details below)
The 2016 Hyundai Sonata is currently the top-ranking midsize car, in part because of its well-designed and spacious interior. This month, you can get $1,500 retail bonus cash off most trim levels of the Sonata, which has a starting price of $21,750.
The best deal, however, is for the midrange Sonata Eco ($23,725). This model features an exclusive powertrain not offered in other Sonata trims: a four-cylinder engine with a twin-scroll turbo and a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. If you pick the Sonata Eco, you'll be eligible for up to $2,750 in retail bonus cash. Not only does this save you money when you buy, but the Sonata Eco will also save you money at the pump with its rating of 28 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
2016 Hyundai Velostar
Deal: $2,750 retail bonus cash (Details below)
Hyundai is also offering a great deal on the 2016 Velostar, its compact hatchback. This month, you can get up to $2,750 in retail bonus cash on the Velostar. That makes this compact's already below-average price for a small car even sweeter (MSRP starts at $18,000).
The Velostar doesn't rank as well as some of Hyundai's other small cars, such as the Elantra and the Accent. To get a great price on one of these, check out Hyundai deals of the month, or use our Best Price Program to find the lowest price near you.
2016 Audi A8
Deal: $2,000 bonus purchase cash (Details below)
If you don't currently own an Audi, this may be the perfect time to consider getting one. This month, Audi is offering $2,000 toward the purchase or lease of a 2016 Audi A8. To be eligible, you must currently be driving a BMW, Lexus, or similar luxury brand (but not Audi).
In Audi's fleet of luxury sedans, the A8 is the largest. It's also graded in the super luxury category, with a less-than-practical starting price of $81,500. Don't despair if this is beyond your means: You can still get a great deal on Audi's smaller A4 or midsize A6 with our Best Price Program, with starting prices of $35,900 and $46,200 (respectively).
2016 Ford Focus
Deal: $3,450 retail bonus cash (Details below)
The $17,225 starting price of a 2016 Ford Focus certainly qualifies this as an affordable compact car. This June, the Focus is an even better deal, thanks to Ford's offer of $3,450 in retail bonus cash. Keep in mind that financing through Ford Credit is required to get this deal.
Qualified buyers can even combine this bonus cash with interest rates as low as zero percent (through Ford Credit), shrinking your overall costs even more.
2016 Kia Forte
Deal: $2,000 cash back (Details below)
This month, Kia deals include offers of zero percent financing, special incentives for college students and recent graduates, and even a discount for Uber drivers. One of the best Kia deals, though, is a $2,000 cash back offer for the 2016 Kia Forte.
The Forte is Kia's compact sedan. It's currently listed seventh out of 22 in our rankings of the best compact cars, offering an abundance of standard features that include keyless entry, satellite radio, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Forte is already a good value with its starting price of $15,990. But it's an even better bargain now, thanks to Kia's deal of $2,000 cash back.
2016 Cadillac XTS
Deal: $3,500 bonus purchase cash (Details below)
If you're worried about the down payment that's often tied to buying a luxury-grade car, check out this month's special for the 2016 Cadillac XTS. This June, Cadillac is offering $3,500 in bonus purchase cash, which drops the price of a new XTS to $41,795.
With these savings, you can save money without compromising on quality, thanks to the XTS' opulent cabin. Power-adjustable front seats, roomy rear seats, a generous trunk, extra insulation for a quiet ride, and a full array of standard technology are some of the standout standards of the XTS.
2016 GMC Sierra 1500
Deal: $3,500 cash allowance (Details below)
Full size pickup trucks are one of the hottest-selling vehicle types at the moment. But that doesn't mean all the good deals have dried up for summer. This month, for example, you can get a cash allowance of up to $3,500 on the 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT.
The SLT is an upgraded trim package for the Sierra 1500, adding more comfort amenities (such as heated front seats, power-folding heated mirrors, dual zone automatic air conditioning, and Bluetooth connectivity) and a larger engine. This trim level is available on a Sierra 1500 with a double cab and standard pickup bed, or on the crew cab version with either a short or standard bed. Retail prices start around $45,000.
2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Deal: Up to $3,000 total cash allowance (Details below)
There are also multiple cash bonus deals this June for the 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500. This truck is a close cousin to the 2016 GMC Sierra (though the Silverado does score slightly higher in our best full size pickup truck rankings).
Chevrolet deals include up to $3,000 cash allowance for the four-door crew cab version of the Silverado 1500, which starts at $36,840. If you don't need the full-size rear doors, consider the less expensive regular cab or double cab models, priced at $28,390 and $32,415, respectively. A cash allowance of $2,000 is available for these two versions.
2016 Jeep Patriot
Deal: Up to $4,000 bonus cash (Details below)
What better way to spend your summer than traversing mountain trails with an off-road ready SUV. Jeep is offering one of the best SUV deals with its offer of up to $4,000 in consumer cash on the 2016 Jeep Patriot.
Financing through Chrysler Capital is required to qualify for the maximum amount of bonus cash.
While this is one of the best Jeep deals for cash back, the Patriot is not one of the top-ranked SUVs from this brand. The Jeep Renegade, for example, is very close in price ($17,995 versus the Patriot's $17,695) but has higher scores across the board. Though Jeep doesn't have a cash bonus deal this generous for the Renegade, if you decide to roll with the Renegade instead, you can use the U.S. News Best Price Program to get the best price in your area.
2016 Ford Taurus
Deal: Up to $4,700 in cash incentives (Details below)
The 2016 Ford Taurus is the crown jewel of this month's cash back car deals. In many areas, you can combine $2,950 in cash back with $1,750 bonus cash from Ford Credit to receive up to $4,700 in total incentives. This trims the Taurus' base $27,110 price tag down significantly.
Among Ford's lineup of passenger cars, the Taurus is its largest, with seating for five and a class-topping 20.1 cubic feet of trunk space. Its safety score is also excellent, though the Taurus lags behind the competition in performance (unless you're talking about the Taurus SHO). If you're looking for a good price on four-door Ford with a sportier feel, Ford car deals include several offers worth considering this month.
In addition to cash back deals, most manufacturers offer a variety of low interest rates and lease specials for many of their vehicles, and you can peruse more of this month's new car deals and lease deals. The U.S. News Best Price Program can also help you find the lowest price in your area any time of year. And for more car reviews and money-saving tips, be sure to follow us on Twitter.
