Summer’s coming, and Memorial Day car deals give buyers an opportunity to get behind the wheel of a new luxury car while saving thousands of dollars for the season’s adventures. There are Memorial Day sales on cars that just arrived on the market, including the Cadillac CT6 and Buick Cascada.
There’s a redesigned Kia Cadenza coming soon, but the current Cadenza still holds the top slot in our large car rankings, tied with the Chevrolet Impala and Toyota Avalon. The Cadenza is available with a great deal this Memorial Day: zero percent financing for 66 months. The comfortable and capable Volvo V60 Cross Country is available with 1.9 percent financing for five years and up to $4,000 cash back.
Memorial Day car sales mean you can get into a 2016 Acura TLX with nothing due at signing and no first month’s payment on a three-year lease deal with payments of $399 per month.

2016 Acura TLX
Acura’s offering the 2016 TLX on a great lease deal with nothing due at signing and no first month’s payment. It’s a three-year deal with payments of $390 per month. You can opt for a lower payment of $309 per month for three years with $2,799 due at signing.
If you prefer to buy, you can finance a TLX with 1.9 percent interest for up to three years or 2.9 percent for up to five years. The TLX holds the No. 6 slot in our rankings of luxury midsize cars and was named our 2016 Best Upscale Midsize Car for the Money.
The TLX is available with two powertrains and with front- or all-wheel drive. The base engine is a 206-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder matched with an eight-speed transmission and all-wheel steering. There’s also a 290-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 available with a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional on V6 models, but only front-wheel drive TLX models have all-wheel steering.
2016 BMW 5-Series
BMW’s Memorial Day deals include 2.99 percent financing for six years on a broad array of their cars and SUVs, including the luxurious 5-Series sedan. Customers can opt for a lease deal with payments of $539 per month for three years with $4,464 due at signing on a 528i sedan.
You can also choose the 535i sedan for $609 per month on a three-year lease with $5,034 due at signing or the 550i sedan for the same term with monthly payments of $719 and $5,144 down. The 2016 BMW 5-Series is ranked No. 7 in our luxury midsize segment.
The 5-Series sedans are powered by a family of turbocharged engines, starting with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 240 horsepower.
2016 Cadillac CT6
The 2016 Cadillac CT6 has barely hit the streets, but there are already finance and lease deals on Cadillac’s all-new flagship sedan. They’re offering 1.9 percent financing for five years or a $629 per month lease deal for three years with $4,949 due at signing on a CT6 1SD.
Cadillac spent several years without an entry in the big, rear-wheel drive luxury sedan market, but has come roaring back with the CT6, a worthy competitor in the segment according to industry experts. It currently holds the No. 4 slot in our rankings of luxury large cars.
The CT6 comes with three engine choices, ranging from an efficient four-cylinder to a potent twin-turbo V6. It’s available in rear- and all-wheel drive models.
2016 Chrysler 300
Chrysler is offering the 90th Anniversary Edition Chrysler 300 (RWD) on a lease deal this Memorial Day with monthly payments of $315 for three years with $2,999 due at signing. Buyers who get their loan through Chrysler can get a zero percent financing deal for five years plus $1,500 cash back.
Bring your own financing and you can get $3,000 cash back on the Anniversary Edition. If you’re in the Northeast you can do even better, with $2,500 cash back on the zero percent financing deal or $4,000 cash back with your own financing.
The special edition of Chrysler’s big sedan comes with a UConnect 8.4AN infotainment system with navigation, SiriusXM Traffic and TraveLink, 90th anniversary badging, and a dual-pane sunroof. The 2016 Chrysler 300 is ranked No. 8 in our listing of large cars.
2016 Hyundai Genesis
The 2016 Hyundai Genesis sedan, soon to become part of Hyundai’s new Genesis luxury brand, is available this Memorial Day with a $299 per month lease deal for three years with $2,999 due at signing (3.8L V6 RWD model).
If you prefer to buy, Hyundai is offering zero percent financing for five years or 1.9 percent for six years.
The 2016 Hyundai Genesis is tied for the No. 4 spot in our luxury midsize car category with the 2016 Lexus GS Hybrid. The Genesis has been lauded for its ride comfort, spaciousness, safety, and low cost of ownership. It comes with a 10-year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty.
2016 Infiniti Q70
Looking for a roomy luxury sedan with a sporty demeanor? The Infiniti Q70 sedan is the flagship of the brand, and you can put one in your driveway with a 0.9 percent financing deal for five years when financed through Infiniti.
Lease customers can get into Infiniti’s Q70 3.7 sedan with the Premium package this Memorial Day with a $459 per month lease deal for 39 months with $4,799 due at signing.
We haven’t had a chance to fully evaluate the 2016 Q70 yet, but the 2015 model currently ranks No. 7 out of 11 large luxury cars. The Q70 is available in a wide variety of models including short- and long-wheelbase variants, rear- and all-wheel drive versions, and the more fuel-efficient Q70 Hybrid.
2016 Jaguar XF
The second generation Jaguar XF was launched for the 2016 model year, and this holiday weekend, special lease and finance deals are available for the sporty luxury sedan. Buyers can take advantage of 1.9 percent financing for five years.
Choose to lease, and Jaguar’s offering an XF Premium model at $479 per month for three years with $4,995 due at signing. Opt for an all-wheel drive Premium model, and your payment goes up by just $10 per month to $489 with the same amount due at signing.
The new XF has gone on a diet, with aluminum-intensive architecture responsible for shedding hundreds of pounds, which increased the XF’s performance and fuel efficiency, while improving handling. The XF’s also gone high-tech with a 10.2 inch central touch-screen display and a 12.3-inch customizable instrument cluster display.
2016 Kia Cadenza
The 2016 Kia Cadenza, tied for No. 1 in our large car segment ranking, has great finance deals this Memorial Day, as a new generation Cadenza will be arriving at dealerships soon. Kia’s offering zero percent financing for 66 months (1.9 percent for six years) with $1,000 bonus cash.
Buyers also have the option of taking $2,000 cash back if they forego the low-rate financing or bring their own bank or credit union loan.
Choose to lease, and Kia’s offering a $309 per month lease deal for two years or $299 per month for three years with $2,999 due at signing for either term.
The Cadenza features a well-designed interior with quality material and a broad array of high-tech features including an excellent Infiniti audio system, push-button start, and Kia’s UVO infotainment and connectivity system.
2016 Lexus GS
The Lexus GS is currently tied for the No. 7 slot in our luxury midsize segment with the BMW 5-Series. The GS scores points with automotive experts for agile handling that doesn’t sacrifice a smooth and refined ride. Their praise is tempered by a difficult-to-manage infotainment system.
Lexus is offering 0.9 percent financing for up to five years or 1.9 percent financing for up to six years on the GS 200T, GS 350 AWD, or GS 350 in most states this Memorial Day.
Lexus GS lease deals vary by state but start as low as $399 per month for three years with $2,299 due at signing for a GS 200T in the Western states. Customers in the Gulf States and Southeast U.S. can get a three-year lease on a GS200T with nothing down and $499 per month.
2016 Lincoln MKZ
Lincoln dealers are clearing stocks of 2016 MKZs, with the 2017 model due in showrooms this summer. The financing and lease deals depend on where you live, but zero percent financing for up to five years is available nationwide. The deal includes up to $1,500 cash back in some areas.
Extend your loan term up to six years, and the interest rate climbs to just 1.9 percent. In the Gulf States, customers foregoing the low-interest financing are eligible for $2,000 cash back. Other areas offer $1,500 cash back.
Lincoln’s also offering three-year leases with payments ranging from $249 to $289 – depending on your location – with between about $3,000 and $3,500 due at signing for either an MKZ with front-wheel drive or an MKZ Hybrid.
The 2016 Lincoln MKZ comes standard with a 2.0 EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, push-button start, and Lincoln Drive Control electronic vehicle performance management that tunes the car’s systems from smooth and mild to more engaging, depending on the driver’s desires.
The current MKZ is rated a lowly No. 18 of 18 cars in our luxury midsize class.
2016 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
Mercedes calls the CLS a four-door coupe, but it’s really a large sedan with a more coupe-like roof profile than other sedans. They’re offering a three-year lease this Memorial Day with payments of $749 per month with $6,243 due at signing and up to $2,500 cash back on the CLS400.
If you want the security and handling of all-wheel drive, the CLS400 4MATIC is available for $769 per month for three years with $6,463 due at signing and up to $2,500 cash back.
The CLS models hold the No. 5 slot in our rankings of best luxury large cars. Industry experts laud the CLS for its powerful lineup of engines and opulent interiors, though the roof design limits rear-seat headroom.
2016 Porsche Panamera
The 2016 Porsche Panamera is currently the No. 2-ranked vehicle in our listing of large luxury cars. This Memorial Day you can lease a Panamera Edition model for three years with a monthly payment of $899 with $6,599 due at signing.
The Panamera strives to balance the performance aspirations of Porsche with the space and comfort of a luxury sedan, and industry experts largely agree that it’s successful in that challenging mission. The Panamera Edition model of the car adds a two-tone black and Luxor beige interior, a sport design steering wheel, 14-way comfort seats, a 585-watt Bose audio system, and subtle exterior touches to show that it’s a special edition.
Porsche Active Suspension Management is also included in the package.
Volvo V60 Cross Country
There’s one car on this list that would be just as happy off the highway as on it. The Volvo V60 Cross Country is all luxury on the inside, but it has the capability of many SUVs and crossovers. You can save money on the V60 Cross Country if you put it in your driveway this Memorial Day.
You can pick up a 2016 V60 Cross Country with 1.9 percent financing for five years with up to $4,000 cash back. If you choose to lease, Volvo’s offering a $339 per month lease deal for three years with $3,569 due at signing.
The Volvo V60 that the Cross Country is based on is rated No. 5 of nine wagons on our Best Cars site. As you might expect from a Volvo, the V60 has been awarded a Top Safety Pick+ designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The Buick Cascada is a newcomer to the market, and it’s Buick’s first convertible in the United States in 25 years. This Memorial Day, you can drop the top on your own with a $369 lease deal for 39 months with $4,339 due at signing on a Cascada (with Premium Preferred Equipment Group).
Buick’s also offering 1.9 percent financing for four years on all Cascadas except those with the Preferred Equipment Group. The 2016 Cascada is ranked No. 12 in our listing of luxury small cars. The Cascada seats four, and its insulated soft top can open in just 17 seconds and at speeds of up to 31 miles per hour.
2016 Toyota Avalon
The 2016 Toyota Avalon is tied for the top spot in U.S. News and World Report’s large car segment with the Chevrolet Impala and Kia Cadenza. This holiday weekend you can get it with zero percent financing for five years, or you can get $2,500 cash back in many regions.
Customers can lease an Avalon XLE for three years with monthly payments between $289 and $299 in most regions, though the amount due at signing varies from $2,999 (in Southern California) to $3,298 (in Southeast states).
The 2016 Toyota Avalon is notable for its comfortable ride and a high predicted reliability rating.
