Summer is coming, and with it comes excursions to the beach, weekend camping, and road trips to see relatives. You need an SUV that can keep up with all your summer plans, especially if your current vehicle is too cramped or unreliable, putting a damper on your warm-weather outings.

You don't want to burn up all your money buying a new SUV, so we've got your covered with this month's hottest SUV lease deals. From monthly payments under $200 to offers with no money down, these cheap lease deals will give you something to celebrate this summer.

2016 Buick Encore

This month, several lease deals can get you into a new SUV for less than $200 a month. The 2016 Buick Encore, for example, is available right now for $179 a month for 39 months with $2,319 due at signing.

Just be aware that, as an ultralow-mileage lease, this deal limits you to 32,500 miles total before additional charges apply.

The 2016 Encore is tied for No. 3 in the U.S. News & World Report ranking of the best subcompact SUVs with the 2016 Jeep Renegade. Its safety scores help it stand out from the crowd, with a Top Safety Pick designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and a five-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The Encore's cabin is also outfitted with standard features not often seen at this price point, including soft-touch materials, a 7-inch color display, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.

2016 GMC Terrain

General Motors

The 2016 GMC Terrain also has a lease special for under $200 a month. This May, the Terrain is available for as little as $199 a month for two years with $2,969 due at signing.

Plus, if you're currently leasing a non-General Motors vehicle, GMC will reduce your down payment to $2,009. This offer is for the SLE-1 trim package, which includes all the standard equipment on the base Terrain (such as a 7-inch touch screen, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and sliding rear seats) and adds XM radio and heated mirrors.

The five-passenger Terrain has a second-row seat that is spacious enough to carry taller travelers, with more leg room than the Ford Escape and Nissan Rogue. Its available cargo room pays the price, however, measuring 31.6 cubic feet behind the seat (compared to the Escape's 34.3 and the Rogue's 39.3).

2016 Toyota RAV4

Toyota lease deals for the 2016 RAV4 feature monthly payments between $179 and $265, depending on the trim package and where you live. Residents in the Northeast can qualify for the best deal: $179 per month for three years with $2,899 due at signing.

This offer includes two years of ToyotaCare, which covers scheduled factory maintenance (such as oil changes and tire rotations) and roadside assistance at no additional cost. The recently refreshed RAV4 has above-average predicted reliability ratings and also has excellent crash test scores.

It's powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is estimated to deliver 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. For an extra $700 you can upgrade this lease deal to the 2016 RAV4 Hybrid, which increases fuel economy to 34/31.

2016 Honda CR-V

American Honda Motor Co. Inc.

This May, Honda's lease deals for the 2016 CR-V give you the option of having a smaller down payment or paying nothing when you sign the lease. In select regions you can lease a CR-V for $280 a month for three years with no first month's payment or down payment.

Or, you can pay $1,999 at signing to get a three-year lease with monthly payments of $219. These offers are for the front-wheel drive CR-V. If you want to upgrade to all-wheel drive, you also have several lease offers to choose from, including an offer of $290 a month for three years with nothing due at signing or $219 a month for three years with $2,499 due at signing.

The CR-V is No. 1 in the U.S. News & World Report ranking of the best compact SUVs, and has won our Best Compact SUV for Families award five times out of the past six years.

2016 BMW X1

If you're looking for an SUV that's still sporty to drive, this is a great month to take a look at the 2016 BMW X1. It's available for $369 a month for three years with $4,294 due at signing.

The BMW X1 is not only our top-ranked luxury subcompact SUV, it but it was also named our 2016 Best Luxury Subcompact SUV for the Money and 2016 Best Luxury Subcompact SUV for Families. Its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine stays true to the brand's maxim of sheer driving pleasure, with the 228-horsepower engine bolstered by the SUV's agile handling.

2016 Acura MDX

You can save your cash for other summertime expenses if you take advantage of this month's deal on the 2016 Acura MDX. From now until July 5, you can lease an MDX for $490 per month for three years, with no first month's payment and nothing due at signing.

If you would rather have a lower monthly payment, then pay $2,999 at signing and have three years of monthly payments at $409.

The MDX is currently in second place on the U.S. News & World Report ranking of luxury SUVs with 3 rows, and it was picked as our 2016 Best Luxury 3-Row SUV for the Money. This is partly due to the MDX's cabin, which is both attractive and comfortable. The front seats come standard with leather trim, built-in heat, and power adjustments (10-way for the driver, eight-way for the passenger). The MDX is also one of the safest luxury midsize SUVS. It was given the highest safety scores available by both IIHS and NHTSA.

2016 Mazda CX-5

There's a lot of value packed into the compact Mazda CX-5. It was named a finalist as our Best Compact SUV for the Money for the past three years, thanks in part to its upscale cabin materials and competitive pricing.

This May, lease deals for the 2016 Mazda CX-5 include an offer of $219 a month for three years with $1,989 due at signing. Standard features include push-button start, Bluetooth connectivity for both phone and audio, and a USB port. The CX-5 has one of the largest cargo capacities in its class, with 64.8 cubic feet of room and rear seats that fold almost completely flat. This Mazda also brings an element of fun to your drive, with athletic handling and youthful styling.

2016 Chevrolet Traverse

If you need a larger SUV, the 2016 Chevy Traverse can carry seven people with optional second-row captain's chairs or eight people if you keep the standard bench seat. It's available to lease this month for as little as $269 a month for 39 months with $2,629 due at signing.

As an ultralow-mileage lease, this offer is best for those who drive fewer than 10,000 miles a year on average. After 32,500 miles, extra fees will apply.

The Chevrolet Traverse is No. 4 in the U.S. News & World Report ranking of the best large SUVs, just one point behind the more expensive Chevrolet Tahoe. The Traverse was also picked as the winner for our 2016 Best Large SUV for the Money award, with safety, reliability, and performance on par with more expensive large SUVs.

2016 Kia Sportage

Kia Motors America

One of Kia's best lease deals this month is for the 2016 Kia Sportage. For Northeast residents, the Sportage is available for $199 a month for three years with $1,999 due at signing. Two-year leases are also available, including a deal of $183 a month with $2,699 down.

If you prefer sporting the latest edition, you may want to consider the 2017 Kia Sportage. After a complete redesign, the new generation of Sportage has an improved suspension system, new active safety add-ons, and an enhanced audio experience. Though the newer Sportage is a little more expensive, you can still find a cheap lease deal for the 2017 model year, with offers as low as $249 a month for three years with $1,999 due at signing.

The 2016 Sportage currently places in the middle of the U.S. News & World Report best compact SUV rankings. While its interior isn't quite as comfortable as some, this Kia's performance and reliability is similar to competitors such as the Honda CR-V and Hyundai Tucson.

2016 Ford Escape

This month, Ford has a great offer for the 2016 Ford Escape if you live in the Northeast. In this region, customers can lease the Escape for as little as $159 a month for two years with $3,873 due at signing.

If you are currently leasing a competing vehicle, Ford will reduce your down payment by up to $1,000.

Part of the value of this lease deal is that it applies to the upgraded SE trim level. Among the extras in this trim are the turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine (which has better acceleration and more power than the base engine), a 10-way power driver's seat, and more comfort amenities. This lease deal also upgrades the Escape from front- to all-wheel drive and adds better speakers, dual-zone temperature control, and the new, much-praised SYNC 3 interface.

2016 Ford Edge

Ford Motor Company

Ford also has a cheap lease deal for its midsize SUV, the 2016 Ford Edge. This month, customers in Western states can lease the Edge for as little as $259 a month for three years with $3,309 due at signing.

This deal doesn’t include quite as many upgrades as Ford's offer for the 2016 Escape, but it does upgrade the Edge from standard front-wheel drive to all-wheel drive. The Edge scores very well in our ranking of the best affordable SUVs with 2 rows and is currently rated No. 4. This year, it was also a finalist for two U.S. News & World Report awards: 2016 Best 2-Row SUV for the Money and 2016 Best 2-Row SUV for Families.

2016 Lexus RX 350

If you're looking for a luxury-grade SUV, Lexus has good deals on its SUVs this month. The 2016 Lexus RX 350, for example, is available in some regions for $419 a month for three years with $2,999 down. This deal adds all-wheel drive to the RX 350, a $1,400 upgrade.

Among similar luxury midsize SUVs, the 2-row RX 350 stands out for being safe and reliable. The IIHS designated it as a Top Safety Pick+, and a full suite of optional safety equipment is available, including pre-collision warning, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. You and your passengers will also feel quite pampered on the road, thanks to the RX 350's comfortable synthetic leather seats, with 10-way power-adjustable seats in the front, and rear seats that slide and recline.

2016 Nissan Rogue

This May, Nissan lease deals include a regional offer of $179 a month for three years with $2,599 down for the 2016 Nissan Rogue with all-wheel drive. That's an even better deal than what's currently available for the smaller, outmoded 2015 Nissan Rogue Select ($189 per month for three years with $2,899 down).

If you're shopping for a crossover SUV like a Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4, the Nissan Rogue is worth a look. Its interior is one of its best features; it includes plenty of soft-touch materials and a Divide-N-Hide storage system that gives you 18 different ways to arrange your cargo space. The Rogue is one of the most fuel-efficient compact SUVs, and it was a finalist for U.S. News & World Report's 2016 Best Compact SUV for Families award.
