As automakers work to meet lofty government fuel economy standards and battery technology improves, the market for electric cars is growing. Chevrolet, Nissan, and Ford are just a few of the established brands to offer some sort of electric-only driving. Tesla, a relative newcomer, has made its name on building electric vehicles, as that is all it currently produces. Its current lineup consists of a sedan and an SUV, though both of those models are fairly pricey. A new, less expensive model is slated to join the lineup soon. We've put together a slideshow highlighting the current Tesla electric vehicles, the Model S and the Model X, as well as information about the upcoming Tesla Model 3.
