(Kia Motors America)

The Kia Optima is fully redesigned for the 2016 model year. The new model is larger and more spacious than the outgoing model and has new exterior and interior styling, as well as some new features. Despite the changes, one thing that hasn't changed is the Kia Optima’s price. With a starting price of $22,665 including $825 for destination, the 2016 Optima is the same price as the 2015 Optima.

At that price, the Optima's undercuts the 2016 Toyota Camry ($23,905) and 2016 Honda Accord ($22,925). The 2016 Mazda6 has a lower starting price of $22,315 with its base manual transmission, but opting for the automatic raises the sticker to $23,815. The 2016 Hyundai Sonata starts at a slightly lower $22,585, and as we reported last month, the redesigned 2016 Chevrolet Malibu starts at $22,500.
