Nissan had some big news last week. The automaker revealed the upcoming 2013 Altima at the New York International Auto Show, but Nissan also plans to introduce four other cars and SUVs in the next 15 months, which will likely include a redesigned Versa, Pathfinder, Rogue and Sentra. Although no official announcements have been made, the automotive press agrees that Nissan’s commercial, which shows the new cars draped in sheets, isn’t too tough to decode.

“Moving from left to right in the image above, we suspect the first mystery vehicle is the hatchback version of the latest Versa, which is expected to debut sometime this year,” writes Car and Driver. Most journalists agree that the next vehicles include the redesigned Pathfinder, followed by the Altima, Rogue and Sentra.

While we know what the redesigned Altima and Pathfinder concept look like, Nissan has yet to pull the wraps off of what is likely the Rogue, Sentra and Versa. However, the Sentra should share some of the Altima’s styling cues when it’s revealed. Autoblog writes, “The next Sentra has already been tipped to receive an Altima-like front fascia, and that's immediately noticeable even under the white sheet.”

At the moment, we don’t know too much about these redesigned cars. “We can expect to learn more about the future Sentra and the other two cars … over the next few months,” says Automobile Magazine. “After all, the commercial promises that this will be Nissan’s ‘most innovative year ever.’”
