Lincoln made significant updates to the 2013 MKS, which it unveiled today at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Along with updated exterior styling, the luxury large car gained more horsepower and an adaptive suspension system as standard equipment. Lincoln says the base 2013 MKS is rated at 300 horsepower, which is 26 more than the 2012 model. The automaker also projects that the 2013 MKS will get 19/28 mpg city/highway – a 3 mpg improvement on the highway when compared with the 2012 MKS.

Inside, the 2013 Lincoln MKS gains a redesigned instrument panel with premium materials, as well as improved sound-deadening materials to eliminate noise. The 2013 Lincoln MKS will go on sale in spring 2012.
