Technically, the Honda Civic is more American than the Ford Focus.

It’s easy to assume that a car is 100 percent American because one of the Big Three produces it. But that’s not always the case. The 2011 Honda Civic, for example, gets 70 percent of its parts from the United States and Canada, while its competitor, the 2011 Ford Focus gets just 60 percent of its parts from the mainland.
