Kia Financing, Cash Back, and Lease Offers for December 2018

This December, Kia is featuring Kia finance specials, car lease deals, and cash back incentives on a wide range of 2018 and 2019 models. Kia car dealers are offering financing through Kia with rates as low as zero percent for up to 66 months on some models, and as high as 2.9 percent for 72 months. Kia lease deals are for two or three years and generally require less than $300 a month and a few thousand dollars at signing. Cash back offers for customers that plan to pay with cash or bring their own financing are generally no more than $2,000. However, you can get up to $4,000 cash back on the 2018 Sedona.

Kia Lease

Kia has lease deals on five 2018 models: the Cadenza, Niro, Optima Hybrid, Rio, and Sedona. The 2019 versions of these five models also have lease deals, as do the 2019 Forte, K900, Optima, Sorento, Soul, and Sportage.

2018 Models

The Kia Rio is available to lease in December for just $149 a month for three years and requires $1,999 at signing. The Kia Niro is also available for a little less than $200 a month and requires $2,999 up front, with two- and three-year terms starting at $199 a month and topping out at $219. The Kia Optima Hybrid requires $2,499 at signing. Both two- and three-year terms start at $239 a month and go as high as $259 for the Optima Hybrid.

The two most expensive models are the Kia Cadenza and the Kia Sedona. The Cadenza requires $3,499 down, with monthly payments of $299 for three years or $309 for two years. The Sedona requires $2,999 down. Two-year leases on this vehicle have payments of $329 per month, while three-year leases require $309 a month.

2019 Models

The Kia Optima lease deals are for two or three years and require a down payment of $2,999. Monthly payments are as low as $179 and as high as $209. The Kia Optima Hybrid has the same down payment, along with monthly payments ranging from $259 to $269, depending on whether you lease for two or three years. A Kia Sorento lease requires a down payment of $2,999. Two-year Sorento leases have monthly payments ranging from a low of $219 to a maximum of $318. Three-year contracts have monthly payments starting at $219. Kia Soul lease deals are some of the most friendly to your wallet. They require $1,999 at signing with monthly payments on two-year leases ranging from $219 to $239. Three-year leases have payments of $199 to $219.

The Kia Cadenza, Sedona, and K900 are the three most expensive Kia vehicles to lease. The Cadenza requires $329 a month for two years and $3,499 at signing. Lease for three years, and you’ll have the same down payment but pay $10 less per month. The Sedona is available with a down payment of $2,999 and monthly payments of $349 for two years or $329 for three years. The K900 is by far the most expensive to lease, with monthly payments of $669 for three years and $4,999 due up front. On the less-expensive end of the spectrum are the 2019 Forte and Rio. Both vehicles usually require $1,999 at signing. The Rio leases for three years and has a monthly payment of $169. The Forte has monthly payments ranging from $169 to $181 for two years. Three-year leases require monthly payments of $169 to $179.

The sporty Kia Niro’s lease requires $2,999 at signing. A two-year lease comes with monthly payments of $219 to $239. Three-year monthly payments range from $209 to $229. The Sportage also requires $2,999 at signing, and its monthly payments range from $199 to $242 for two years, or $189 to $229 for three years.

Kia Financing

The national average interest rate for a five-year new-car loan from a bank or credit union is 4.93 percent. For six-year loans, it’s 4.99 percent. Choosing Kia financing will probably save you a lot of money. Zero percent financing for up to five-and-a-half years is available for the 2018 Cadenza, Niro, Optima Hybrid, and Sedona. You can finance these same vehicles for six years at 0.9 percent.

Financing rates for 2019 models can be split into two categories, depending on the car. The Forte, Niro, Optima, Sorento, Soul, and Sportage have five-year rates of zero percent. Five-and-a-half-year rates are 0.9 percent, and six-year rates are 1.9 percent for these vehicles. The Cadenza, K900, Optima Hybrid, Rio, and Sedona are available with 0.9 percent financing for five years, 1.9 percent for five-and-a-half years, and 2.9 percent for six years.

Kia Rebates

Kia cash back deals are available on a number of 2018 and 2019 models. For 2018 models, you can get $1,250 to $1,750 cash back on the Niro; $2,000 on the Optima Hybrid; $1,000 to $1,500 on the Rio; and $2,000 to $4,000 on the Sedona. For 2019 models, you can get $750 back on the Forte; $2,500 on the Optima; $500 on the Rio; $1,000 on the Sedona; $2,000 to $3,500 on the Sorento; $2,000 on the Soul; and $2,000 on the Sportage.
