Ford Deals: Buy or Lease a Ford 2017 Best Truck Brand Winner

Ford Financing, Cash Back, and Lease Offers for May 2017

Ford is offering a number of lease deals, purchase deals, and cash back deals this May. Many of the lease deals, however, are not as attractive as those of competitors like Toyota and Mazda. More on Ford Deals

In the market for a midsize car this May? Ford’s Fusion is available in some parts of the country for as little as $223 per month for 39 months with $3,168 due at signing. The Fusion has lots of space and sporty handling, but it has low predicted reliability scores and worse gas mileage estimates than many competitors. The Toyota Camry isn’t sporty, but it’s reliable, and you can lease it in some parts of the country this month for just $169 a month for three years with $2,899 down. Over the course of the lease, you’ll save more than $2,800 by choosing the Camry over the Fusion, though you’ll keep the Fusion three months longer.

May is a great month to make the jump to a midsize SUV like the Ford Edge (starting at $28,950). Ford is offering zero percent financing for five years and $1,000 cash back on the Edge. That’s a much better deal than what you’ll get financing through your bank or credit union, as the national average for a five-year new-car loan is 3.23 percent. Purchase through Ford and apply the thousand dollars to your down payment and you’ll save more than $3,400 over the life of the loan. In addition, your monthly payment will be lower by $73.
