Mazda Financing, Cash Back, and Lease Offers for March

Money-saving offers are blossoming this March, with Mazda deals that include zero percent financing on select 2016 and 2017 models, and a sprinkling of cash back offers that put up to $1,500 in your pocket. More on Mazda Deals

This month, you have your pick between two separate offers for the 2017 Mazda3 (MSPR: $17,845): zero percent financing for five years or $1,500 cash back. Both are good bargains, and both will save you more than if you buy the 2017 Subaru Impreza (MSRP: $18,395). The current Subaru finance offer for the Impreza is 1.9 percent financing, which translates to $1,500 more than what you'd shell out over the course of your loan for the Mazda3, when comparing base models with no money down.

When car companies offer different lease lengths, it can be difficult to discern which one is actually less expensive over the long run. For example, take the current lease deals for the 2017 Chevrolet Malibu versus the 2017 Mazda6. On the surface, these seem very similar. The Malibu has a lease deal of $209 a month for 39 months, with $2,569 due at signing, while Mazda is offering a three-year lease on the Mazda6 for $205 a month ($1,985 down payment required). Crunch the numbers, and you'll see that the Mazda6 lease saves you about $1,400 over its lease term. And even though the Malibu lease is slighter longer, its extra cost doesn't make the three extra months worthwhile.
