Purchase Deal: Up to $5,250 cash back
When you look at off-road and inclement weather performance for the buck, it's hard to compete with the 2021 Jeep Renegade. With the massive cash back offers Jeep has this month, the Renegade's value proposition is even stronger.
The size of rebate you can claim varies by where you live and the trim level you choose, with the highest amounts found on the off-road-oriented Trailhawk and top-trim Limited models. Jeep is also offering 0% financing deals on the Renegade, though those offers include much less, if any, cash back.
In our ranking of subcompact SUVs, the 2021 Renegade holds a mid-pack spot. It has a weak powertrain and a predicted reliably rating that's lousy. However, for 2021, it's better equipped than ever, with a standard 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Renegade's standard equipment list includes automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and lane keep assist.
Front-wheel drive comes standard, though you'll only get performance worthy of the Jeep badge when you opt for an all-wheel-drive Renegade.

Purchase Deal: 0% financing for 63 months
Some will say that Americans don't like station wagons. The popular 2021 Subaru Outback proves the doubters wrong, with its car-like handling and SUV-style capability. All Outback models are fitted with all-wheel drive and Subaru's camera-based EyeSight suite of safety and driver assistance technology.
This January, Subaru is continuing the 63-month, 0% financing offer they've had for the last several months. Compared to market interest rates, the 0% deal can save you thousands of dollars.
The 2021 Outback claims a mid-pack spot in our ranking of wagons. It offers a spacious five-seat cabin and plenty of cargo room for weekend adventure gear or multiple Labrador Retrievers. Its base engine gets the job done, though it's less powerful than those found in some rival wagons. Subaru offers a 260-horsepower turbo that eliminates any thoughts about lack of gusto.
For 2021, Subaru added a rear-seat reminder system and steering-responsive headlights to the Outback's standard feature list.

Purchase Deal: 0.9% financing for 60 months plus $5,000 bonus cash
Over the last few years, Cadillac has rolled out an array of SUVs, ranging from the subcompact XT4 to the mammoth 2021 Escalade. In 2020, they introduced the Cadillac XT6, a three-row crossover with seating for seven. It earns a mid-pack spot in our ranking of luxury midsize SUVs.
This month, you can get a 2020 Cadillac XT6 deal with 0.9% financing for five years with $5,000 bonus cash. If you can't find a 2020 model, there's also a financing deal available on the 2021 Cadillac XT6, though it comes with less bonus cash. The deals expire on March 1.
The XT6 features the quiet cabin you expect from a Cadillac, though it's not as roomy or comfortable as some competitors' interiors. With all seven seats in use, there's little cargo space available. Fold the third-row, however, and you'll be happier with the amount of cargo room.
Cadillac only offers the XT6 with a 310-horsepower V6 that's matched to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available.

Purchase Deal: 0% financing for 60 months plus up to $4,000 bonus cash
Chrysler refreshed their plug-in hybrid minivan for 2021, updating its styling, including more standard safety tech, and introducing a new infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touch screen. Given the number of upgrades, this month's generous 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid deals are a bit surprising.
Chrysler is offering 0% financing for five years and as much as $4,000 bonus cash, depending on the trim level you choose and where you live. The Pacifica Hybrid features a gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a battery pack that can provide enough power for 32 miles of gas-free driving. When the battery is depleted, the minivan shifts seamlessly to traditional hybrid vehicle operation, with an EPA combined fuel economy estimate of 30 mpg. That's 8 mpg better than the non-hybrid 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.

Purchase Deal: 0% financing for 84 months
The longest 0% financing deal we've found this month is available on the 2021 Nissan Titan pickup. It's good for a seven-year auto loan without a penny of interest. The deal is available on both the light-duty Titan and the more capable 2021 Nissan Titan XD.
While the Titan may not match the towing capability or opulence of some rivals, no other truck available today can match the Nissan's exceptional truck warranty. Nissan covers the Titan with a five-year/100,000-mile comprehensive warranty.
The Titan comes standard with either an 8- or 9-inch touch-screen infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It's powered by a 400-horsepower V8 that's matched to a nine-speed automatic transmission and rear- or four-wheel drive.
Due to incomplete crash test data, we don't currently have the 2021 Titan scored in our ranking of full-size pickup trucks.

The HR-V earns a spot in the upper tier of our subcompact SUVs ranking. It earns great EPA fuel-economy estimates and has nimble handling. While the base trim has a short standard features list, upper trims are outfitted with several advanced driver assistance and safety technologies. Support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is provided on all but the least expensive model.

In our ranking of full-size pickup trucks, the 2021 Ram 1500 scores a spot near the top of the list. Ram offers a wide array of engine options, so you can outfit the truck for whatever you need it to do. They range from a 305-horsepower V6 to a 702-horsepower V8 in the Ram 1500 TRX. Purchase Deal: 0% financing for 60 months
This January, Infiniti is offering a 0% financing deal for five years on its largest SUV. Taking advantage of the offer could save you several thousand dollars off the purchase and financing of the V8-powered large luxury SUV.
If you had to finance the $69,050 base price of the QX80 for five years at 4.22%, which is around the average for interest rates from banks and other lenders, you'd have to pay $7,662 in interest over the term of the loan, according to the U.S. News Car Loan Calculator. There would be even more interest to pay if you opted for a higher-trim model. With the 0% deal, you don't have to pay any interest at all.
The 2021 Infiniti QX80 packs a 400 horsepower V8, which can provide up to 8,500 pounds of towing capability when properly equipped. It seats seven, though its cramped third row is best left to kids. There's plenty of cargo room, especially once you start folding seats forward.
In our ranking of luxury large SUVs, the QX80 earns a spot near the bottom of the pack. Though its interior is opulent, this SUV hasn't kept up with the times, and it feels dated compared to some rivals. It's predicted reliability score trails most class competitors, too.
More 2020 Lincoln Continental Deals in Your Area
Check Deal Availability »2020 Lincoln Continental
Purchase Deal: Up to $5,500 cash back
The production of the Lincoln Continental, the brand's final flagship sedan model, has ended. The last sedans you can buy from the venerable luxury brand are the remaining 2020 Lincoln MKZ and 2020 Lincoln Continental models on dealer lots. When they're gone, Lincoln will be an all-SUV brand.
This January, Lincoln's making it a bit easier to buy a Continental by offering between $4,500 and $5,500 cash back, depending on your location. The deal is good until March 31, though there may not be many left by that time.
In our ranking of luxury large cars, the Continental holds a spot just below mid-pack. While it offers a potent optional engine, supremely comfortable front seats, and loads of standard equipment, its build quality is lower than customers demand from Lincoln, and its handling is lazy, at best.
Still, if you want a piece of automotive heritage, your time to act is slipping away.

Save Money With One of January’s Best Car Deals
January is normally a slow time in America's new car showrooms. While the frenzy of year-end deals has passed, it doesn't mean there aren't excellent financing and cash back offers available. In fact, this January brings a host of generous new deals on vehicles from across the automotive spectrum.
The deals fall into two categories: Cash back deals, or rebates, are simply discounts off the price of a new vehicle. Financing deals reduce or eliminate the amount of interest you have to pay on your auto loan. Which can save you more money? You have to look at the specifics of each deal and your financial situation to answer that question.
While some cars, such as the 2021 Jeep Renegade and 2020 Lincoln Continental, are available with large cash back offers, you can do even better this January. Several vehicles, including the just refreshed 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and 2020 Cadillac XT6, are available with offers that include both 0% financing and generous amounts of bonus cash.
It's a good month to buy a pickup, with a seven-year 0% offer available on the 2021 Nissan Titan and combination offers that include both 0% financing and cash back available on some trims of the 2021 Ram 1500 and 2021 Chevrolet Silverado.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to grip America, it's not a good idea to spend hours negotiating your car purchase in person. The U.S. News Best Price Program will not only help you get a great price, but it will also find local dealers who can work with you online and provide home delivery options.
Several of this month's new car deals are showcased on the following pages. Not every dealer will have any of the vehicles listed, and dealer stock may be limited. In most cases, you'll need excellent credit to take advantage of most financing deals and many cash back offers.
Unless otherwise noted, the deals shown expire on February 1.
