Even in the base trim, the 2020 Audi TT exudes class with its modernly styled cabin, first-class materials, and excellent fit and finish. Reviewers appreciate its simple styling and clean interior layout. State-of-the-art features like Audi’s Virtual Cockpit further help the TT stand out in the class.
The front seats are cozy and spacious, but the back seats in coupe models don't have much room. Cargo space is pretty good in the coupe.
The Audi TT coupe seats four, though back-seat space is very tight. The front seats, however, are well-contoured and comfortable, even for taller occupants. The TT roadster seats two.
Leather and Alcantara upholstery, heated front seats, and power-adjustable front seats are standard. Sport seats and Nappa leather upholstery with honeycomb stitching are available.
For securing child safety seats, the coupe model has two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the rear seats.
Standard features include an MMI controller with handwriting recognition, wireless device charging, satellite radio, HD Radio, two SD card readers, a nine-speaker stereo, two USB ports, Bluetooth, and Audi’s Virtual Cockpit with a 12.3-inch screen. The TT also comes with proximity keyless entry, push-button start, automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera. Roadster models have a power-operated soft top.
Audi’s Virtual Cockpit replaces the traditional gauge cluster with a vibrant display. Drivers can quickly peek at a variety of information like navigation and radio settings without having to turn their heads.
Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and blind spot monitoring.
Some rivals are available with driver assistance features like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning, but Audi doesn’t offer these in the TT.
The Audi TT has 12 cubic feet of cargo room, which is a good amount of space for a luxury sports car. The rear seats fold in a 50/50 split to accommodate longer items, and there’s also plenty of in-cabin storage spaces.
The convertible model has less cargo room at 7.5 cubic feet, but unlike some convertibles, you won’t lose any space when the top is down.
