The 2017 Audi Q5 is part of a generation that debuted for the 2009 model year. The 2013 Q5 added an available supercharged V6 engine, introduced a hybrid model, and refreshed the interior and exterior styling. The 2014 model year introduced a new diesel engine, the performance SQ5 model, a stronger base engine, and standard Bluetooth. The 2015 model year added a standard power liftgate, and the 2016 model year added a standard panoramic sunroof. The Q5 is powered by a 220-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which delivers speedy acceleration. However, its automatic stop-start system for preserving fuel may be annoying in stop-and-go traffic. For more power, there's an available 272-horsepower, supercharged V6 and an available 354-horsepower, supercharged V6. A smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission is standard. All models come standard with Quattro all-wheel drive.
