Are Muscle Cars Safe?

Performance Features

Unlike the Mustang and the Camaro, the rear-wheel-drive Challenger does not have a four-cylinder engine option. Rather, it has one V6 and two V8 engine choices, including the high-performance Hellcat trim, which makes a staggering 707 horsepower. The slowest Challenger engine makes 305 horsepower, which is still quite powerful. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard, but a six-speed manual is also available. The Challenger’s weight hinders the muscle car’s overall agility, but it also contributes to its outstanding straight-line speed.
