2018 Toyota Camry

For the last 15 years, the midsize Toyota Camry has been the most popular car in America. Toyota chose the Detroit show to present the next chapter in the Camry story, and the eighth-generation 2018 model takes on a sportier demeanor than any Camry we’ve ever seen.

The current 2017 Camry is locked in a five-way tie for the No. 3 position in our rankings of midsize cars.

The wheelbase of the 2018 Camry has been stretched two inches, the roof has been lowered by an inch, and styling cues have been added to complete the sedan’s lower, longer, and wider-looking stance. Despite the lower roofline, interior space has been improved by moving occupants lower in their seats.
