Cars That Are the Stars of the Los Angeles Auto Show

There are more than 50 new car debuts scheduled for the Los Angeles International Auto Show, and some of the most important aren’t the fastest or flashiest. There’s a subcompact SUV coming to the U.S. market from Ford, and Jeep’s set to debut a replacement for the Compass compact SUV.

The long-awaited 2018 Toyota CH-R will make its debut and the hot Honda Civic Si Concept previews the company’s performance take on our top-ranked compact car. From Alfa Romeo comes an SUV named after one of the most famous driving roads in the world, Italy’s Stelvio Pass.

While many of the vehicles shown at this season’s first auto show will be on the roads in 2017, you’ll have to wait until 2018 to see some of them. There are also a number of concept cars on the show floor, with some destined for production and others simply designer’s dreams.
